SHIPPING & DELIVERY
- Most domestic orders placed before 2pm (EST) Monday-Friday will ship out the same day.
- Not applicable for:
Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays
- Orders for Mascots, large props, Quantity Discount Items or Special items
- Please note that orders placed in October will be shipped out within 2-4 business day(s) due to the fact that it is our busy season.
Please allow applicable delivery time for your order. Orders shipped within the continental United States can take an average of 2-3 days for delivery. All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail, unless alternate choice is selected. Accelerated shipping is available for an additional fee. Please call or e-mail us for further information on this service.
Please note that orders placed in October can take up to 2-3 business day(s) to shipped out due to the fact that it is our busy season. Otherwise most orders are processed within hours of receiving and shipped the following day.
For orders shipped out in December, we will ship within 24 hours. However, delivery times are not guaranteed because of the shipping companies who tend to be backed up with the volume of packages and cannot guarantee delivery. Order those Christmas items EARLY!!!
SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL US & TO MILITARY BASES:
We ship worldwide via USPS Express Mail® International.
We will not be responsible for any import duty or taxes (GST) due upon delivery and for packages delayed by customs. Delivery times are generally very accurate but are not guaranteed.
TO MILITARY BASES:
We ship to APO and FPO addresses via US Priority Mail. Those packages are sent out via US Post Office Priority Mail to your APO or FPO address. Delivery time after that depends on the military. Next day and second day delivery is not available for APO & FPO addresses.
GENERAL SHIPPING TERMS & POLICIES:
All charges labeled as "shipping" are to mean the shipping and handling fee. Completing an order on our shopping cart means that you agree to our terms, conditions and prices. Before calling , please review our policies. When you place an order with us over the phone, e-mail or through the mail, you also agree to our terms, conditions and prices.
Shipping charges are subject to change due to size, weight, and desired speed of delivery.
We will make every effort to get your package delivered to you in a reasonable timeframe. However, TheCostumeKing.com cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping for any reason. We are not liable for any package once it has been picked up from our location by a shipping company.
Upon purchase, the customer assumes all liability in the use, misuse, or handling of any product and will not hold TheCostumeKing.com employees or owners liable for any reason.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGE POLICY
All returns require a Return Authorization. Please call 1 704-755-5287 or email sales@TheCostumeKing.com before returning anything. Packages received without Return Authorization will be refused.
- How To Return An Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 7 days of your purchase.
Orders that you have had for more than 7 days will not be eligible to be exchanged or refunded for any reason, no exceptions.
NOTE: Orders placed between September 10th and November 1st are final sales and not eligible for return, exchange or refund.

3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.
For sanity reasons: Makeup, Masks, Wigs, Beards, Mustaches, Socks, Tights, Shoes, Boots, Novelty Teeth, Fangs, large scale decorations and props, Statues and Collectibles, Mascot costumes and items marked Special Order, Costumes that include a wig or beard cannot be exchanged.
Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
Items will NOT be eligible for a refund if:
1. Item was refused upon delivery.(it will be returned to the customer at the customers’ expense.)
2. An incorrect address was provided by the customer.
3. Items are not received on time because the wrong shipping method was chosen by the customer.
4. Item is marked "Clearance" on the website. Clearance items cannot be returned and are sold as-is. No Exceptions.
5. An order is delayed due to an inclement weather system or any other uncontrollable incident that causes substantial disruptions to the courier's service.
6. NOTE: There are no returns or exchanges for international orders.
All items are subject to a 35% restocking fee plus all shipping and handling fees for the return. (with a minimum of $10 ), this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.
If your clothing item is in new condition, you may exchange it for a different size or color but you still will have to pay return shipping.
Please note that refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and shipping charges are not refundable.
A refund will be posted to the original card you used or you can request a store credit. Refunds can take up to 6 weeks.
ORDERING & PAYMENT
We accept Purchase Orders from schools, churches, and government organizations. We have no minimum total amount on Purchase Orders. We will be happy to work with you to fulfill your organization’s needs. We CANNOT ACCEPT C.O.D.'s, checks or money order. Please do NOT send cash through the mail! We CANNOT be responsible for loss of cash sent through the mail.
If we don't have it, we can get it! We'll special order it for you. Feel free to contact customer service regarding special orders.
